soundproofing againt conversations

I recently moved into a brand new loft condominium. My husband and i were very concerned about the noise level before making our purchase. The realtor and builder assured us they would be putting an acoustical blanket in the walls and we would not hear out neighbors under normal circumstances.

On the first morning we woke up in our new condo we were woken by our neighbor yawning. We hear them speaking in normal conversations, running the water, etc... like they are living in our condo. What material is best to use to sound proof againt this? And how much construction/destruction is involved?

You can simply add a second layer of drywall with Green glue in between and if you want to beef it up you can add a layer of MLV w/PSA.
