Barking Hound.....
« on: January 15, 2005, 06:25:31 AM »

I already noticed how easy sound came through my 2 bedroom windows and now that my neighbor has a new bassett hound it's time to take action.  I'm not a morning person and this hound is howling at 6am.  Would you recommend the magnet window?  I own the house and plan to be here at least 5+ years.  The current windows are dual pane w/ low E glass and the hound is about 80 - 100 feet away.  Thanks!  Glad to have found this forum.

Hi Deanne
Yes we would recommend the magnet windows. The manufacture states it may reduce the amount of noise experinced by 90%.. The kits come in standard sizes  36x36,48x48,60x60,72x72 and 84x84. You will also need an installation kit. All are very reasonably priced.
They have a thermal benefit  too.

Thanks for your question
