Noise reduction in the country

I moved to the country 3 years ago to get away from all the city noise. Well, now I have oil wells about 1/2 mile away that make noise day and night.  It is mostly bothering me at night when I try to sleep. The sound is a very low bass grinding noise and fairly constant.



What steps should I take to determine how best to quiet my bedroom? I admit that I am very noise sensitive.
