Band needs to soundproof basement windows
« on: August 06, 2005, 03:15:30 PM »

I recently moved into a house with a great basement for my band to practice, but the basement windows are really lousy and a lot of sound leaks out. I don't have a lot of money to spend, and plugging up the windows with towels hasn't really done anything. Please help!!!!

Ethan:

A window plug is not a bad solution. However, it is important that the window plug material be an excellent sound absorber. Sugest you look at Closed Cell Foam Window Plug @http://www.soundproofing.org/infopages/windowplug.htm
