Drum practice room
« on: March 21, 2001, 04:26:28 PM »
Hi, I have a freestanding room that consists of bare
studs and stucco.  Which of the two scenarios would produce
better results: 1) Add a 2x2 to the base, add stagered
metal studs, insulation, a layer of drywall, a layer of sound
board and another layer of drywall.  2)build a free standing
room inside of the building with metal studs, drywall
soundboard and a layer of drywall.  I'm hesitant to do
the second because I'm limited on space.  Any advice
would be greatly appreciated.

A freestanding room would be far superior to the other choices.
