Best underlayment for hardwood?

My wife and I are planning on putting in hardwood floors on a second-story condo. We want to minimize the noise that our downstairs niegbor will hear. It would be GREAT if we could keep the new floor as quiet as carpet somehow. We're planning on a floated wood floor (enginered) with a 1/4" cork underlayment. We'll also have an area rug in the living room and a no hard-soled shoes policy.

Does this sound like enough? Is there a better underlayment that we should check into? Maybe thicker cork? Any advice would be welcome.
