Noisy Foosball Table

Maybe a new one for you to consider....

I live in a 3 floor house, ~100 years old, in North London.

At the bottom I have a rear-facing room which contains my two table football machines. I play table football very seriously. But the noise is driving my partner to desparation. I need sound-proofing.

My partner has sensitive hearing, and says the noise disturbs her from the top of the house, even when I have the door closed.

It's not just the noise of goals being scored, but also the sound of the ball being suddenly and repeatedly pinned to the playfield by the men.

I do not know if the noise is airborne or conducted or both... I think I need some advice....

many thanks...

Dave

Without doing expensive remodeling, try some earmuffs!
