soundproofing a rented room
« on: March 29, 2006, 09:13:55 PM »
Heres the deal, im renting a room from a buddy its an room on top of his 3 car garage. Building a room inside a room is out of the question so what would be the easiest or most efficent way to soundproof the room??

right now the walls are completly open no insulation at all, should i use regular fiberglass or some type of special foam. also i dont have to much money, basicly his house is about 15 feet from the room so i wouldnt need complete silence but  quite enough not to piss his wife off...

thanks for any and all help with this.
