Would like to Sound Proof a room.

Im moving into a old house with solid walls. I wil be on top/3rd floor I would like to sound proof one of the rooms to keep too much nosie from reach downstairs.
I am unable to knock down walls, and I have hard wood floors any suggestions?

The big thing is the floors.  You have old, hardwood floors, probably with a lot of gaps between boards.  The subfloor is composed of 1X lumber, also with a lot of gaps.  It is a 'leaky' system.    

Try the MLV+foam product sold on this site.  Cover the entire floor, seal up the seams and edges and see if that helps.
