outdoor sound absorber

We own a restaurant with an outdoor patio. We have acoustic players at night and have one neighbor complaining about the sound. It's not loud but it seems to travel right to his house, which sits higher than our patio about 100 yards away. Our patio is 16X44 and fenced in with a wooden fence, one side is our concrete building, which faces his house. The fence is about 8 feet high with fence posts sticking up about 4 feet higher, every 5 ft. I was thinking I could put sound absorbing above the fence line attaching to the fence posts. Would this work and is there weatherproof sound absorbers? Thanks for any help with this.

Sorry to say that you will not have much luck in trying to control the sound from your end.  It would be much better to work with him and do sometime like sound control windows, etc...
