Are Super Soundproofing products okay to use in automobiles?

For example I'm considering using Super Soundproofing Foam Acoustical Mats in conjunction with damping mats (i.e.: Dynamat) in my car doors and other interior areas.  And Super Soundproofing MLV barriers on the floor board and trunk areas.

Just about all of your site's product descriptions focuses on household or building uses, so I wondering how sutied it is for interior automobile useage.  Thanks.

With the compound curves of your car, trying to put MLV in wouldn't work too well.  Try applying supersoundproofing liquid coating under the trunk and floor carpeting.  That will kill the vibration from the steel and quiet down your car.

Super  Soundproofing products such as Closed Cell Foam and Mass Loaded Vinyl are used with success in reducing noise regarding automobiles. Take a look at "Vehicles" at site:/ http://soundproofing.org/

These materials have also been used to soundproof private airplanes.
