Treadmill Vibration Isolation
« on: April 22, 2001, 05:50:40 PM »
I had to move my exercise treadmill from the basement to the second floor.  It's located adjacent to an outside wall for maximum support.  But there is a noticeable vibration when it is used over 4 mph.  It's
not excessive...the chandelier below it does NOT rattle...it's just something that can be felt.
Any suggestions on some economic ways of minimizing vibration from the treadmill transmitting to the house structure?
Noise is not a problem.
