temporary sound barrier for corner of room
« on: May 14, 2007, 05:14:07 PM »
Hello,
I often do some online gaming whilst speaking on a microphone in my bedroom at night.  Problem is, my brother who sleeps in the bedroom next to mine sometimes can't sleep.  would there be any way of making an inexpensive temporary sound barrier, made out of wood and foam or something like that which could enclose myself with the computer behind the barrier to contain the sound?  The computer is in a corner on the opposite side of the room to the wall adjoining my brother's bedroom.

Any advice appreciated. thanks,
Matthew

Use the 2" foam to create a "phone Booth" effect.  You know, the ones we used to see at the side of the road where a person talks into the phone inside a small waist high enclosure.  Use the foam mat at the top of the prices page at:
