Bass through apartment floor

I'm considering moving into an apartment above a bar.  The music leaks through the floor, especially the bass.  It's not particularly loud, but it's constant and I'm trying to get to a zero-noise-from-below solution. 

It's a hardwood floor apartment, about 1300 sq feet.

Any thoughts?  How much might it cost to solve something like this?

Don't do it....

Since you're renting, you won't be willing to spend the kind of money you'd need to get even a 'low-noise-from-below' solution.  Even if you were willing to spend that kind of dough, it's doubtful your landlord would permit you to make any changes.

The only real solution to silencing loud bass is a concrete floating floor - big bucks, lots of hassle/mess/disruption, even if you owned the property.

You can try sound absorbing wood panels to reduce the noise effects

I agree with John, Dont do it !!....The sound absorbing wood panels mentioned below will do nothing for the transmission of bass and LF waves from the bar into your unit! Decoupling and adding Mass is the only way to reduce this type of problem!
