I've been thinking about sound proofing a couple of rooms for awhile now, but the problems is that while I do know a bit about construction and building things all of this is a bit overwhelming. I'm honestly just completely confused, and I'd really appreciate anyone that can just go over the basics or even just recommend a good book. Thank you in advance for your time.

Just give us a call at our office and we will be happy to answer your questions and clerify soundproofing for you...the variables in soundproofing are endless so every solution is based on what type of noise problem your trying to reduce.

Here is a link to a good book to read if you want to understand soundproofing a home.
