Do you know of any way to attach your soundproofing mats to a wall so that they are removable?  I'm assuming your adhesive is not something I'd be able to lift off the wall later if I'm in a rental unit without severely damaging them.  Is there any type of adhesive that would be removable, or if I decide to stick the mats onto a separate type of panel, how could I attach that panel to the wall without damaging it?

Depending on which mats you are reffering to...you can use velcro ...contact cement one side to the panel and use a stapler for the other side to attach to the wall...depending on the size of the panel will dictate how many strips of velcro you will need....use 1 1/2" or 2" wide velcro.....we use 2 / 2" strips 4' long to hold up our 2' x 4' Fabtec panels in office environments for easy removal and adjustable placement.
