isobooth ventilation

i plan on building a vocal booth based on these instructions:
http://www.soundproofing.org/infopages/portable_sound_control_room.htm

what i am curious about is ventilation.  one requirement i have for this booth is that it must not suffocate the occupant.  a big requirement, i know.

according to the instructions, a fan can be used for ventilation.  how should the fan be added?  should i cut a whole in one of the panels and stick the fan through, or should i place the fan on the outside of the booth, blowing air in through the space between the overlapping panels?
