Help, advice needed
« on: August 06, 2009, 09:04:22 PM »
I have done a stupid thing.
I have just realised that I have screwed wooden studs into the wall the wrong way round for resilient bars ie I have put them horizontally on the wall rather than vertically.
Can I screw the resilient bars into them as they are or should I screw more wooden battens onto them? Or can I hang the resilient bars vertically?
Can I use neoprene tape between the resilient bars and the studs?

Sorry to hear. Fix the error, take it down and hang them correctly. Its not worth going through all this work to end up with a short or resonence chamber in the wall after its been finished. RC-1 is designed to hang a specific way for a reason.
