soundproofing door openings

Hope this is the correct forum..seemed the best. New user here and I have a question about reducing sound transmission inside a home. I have a very large family room (man cave) with my home theatre setup in it. It has two walls in common with the house proper. It was added on so both those were exterior walls and are insulated. there are two doorways from the family room into other rooms and a hallway. The hallway is the only entrance currently used. I plan to install an exterior type door in the hallway at a right angle to the hall which I believe should really cut sound transmission down there if sealed properly. My real issue is how best to reduce sound thru those other closed doorways. I don't want to make real renovations because knowing my wife, we may eventually start using those doors again. they are a single standard door with 12 panes of insulated glass (divided lights) in a frame that gives me 12" depth from the door to the inside of the other room. A curtain hangs over it now so I can fill that cavity behind the curtain. The second opening is a double french door which is 72" x 80" but only has 3 1/2" beyond the doors. It also has a curtain currently hanging over one side of the doors. My thoughts were to seal the doors with foam tape and fill the cavity in the deeper door with fiberglass batt insulation held in place with a rigid foam insulation board. Better ideas? How about the double french doors? Seal them similarly then what? Also, is there a fabric product that I could apply to the back of the drapes to make them more sound deadening? Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Well with that depth you could do your idea, which is more absorption geared or you can create plugs for these doors that will block.

Most important is the compression seal to the jam.
