Hi there.

Hope someones with knowledge will help me with this. I have many noise issues, but this is the one I'm not sure how to deal with yet.

When my next door neighbor drops something on the floor, or walks around with shoes it's VERY AUDIBLE in my apartment. Like it's the same floor, or the sound just travels from his hardwood floor directly under the wall into mine.

Is there a way for me to coat my floor with something that would make me unable to hear or feel it? Vinyl coating and big rugs. Would that help at all?

David
