Traffic Noise with thick rubber or MDF?

Hi,

I mild traffic noise coming from one wall in my home recording studio.
It's a 6 foot by 10 foot wall with windows across the length of the wall in the middle. I don't mind completely blocking out the windows.

Would covering the wall with high density fiber board help?
I also have access to rolls of 10-16 inch thick rubber that I could hang down the walls.

Would either of these solutions help? Which would be best?

I would recommend our window plugs for this problem or a second window with a 2" or greater airspace.
