College apt

Hey, im in college and am going to be moving to a new apt this summer. I would really like my room which is 10x14 to be very quiet from my outside sound and i wanna keep all of my sound in because i like to play guitar and sing and blast music. I dont really care about how good the sound quality is in my room because i am not picky about how my recordings sound. Basically i dont want to get a noise complaint or have my roomate be mad. Also, since i will only live here for one year, i would like something that could be moved in the future (so if im putting stuff on the walls, i can take it down and so on). My budget is roughly 400 bucks (college student) so if you could get back to me about a setup that would work, i would very much appreciate that. I know with that low of a budget too that it will be still far from perfect but anything helps.  Thank you!

Oh and here is the apt layout, so one of the bedrooms will be mine ( http://www.postrealtyproperties.rentlinx.com/ViewPhotoGallery.aspx?UnitID=1763#Photo_329 )

You can try hanging some Mass loaded vinyl, the results will entirely vary based on how well it is sealed and how much area you can cover for that price..

how much surface area do you have to cover?
