Acoustic panels

I have a small office about I get an echo, think it's the high arc ceilings, and I'm thinking about putting a couple of 24" X 48" X 2" acoustic panels on the wall facing my desk. Do you think that would help eliminate or reduce the echo?

Yes, it would help... what are the room dimensions?   I can tell you how many panels you will need to notice a change.

Hey Randy: the room is

11 feet long
10.5 feet wide

floor to cieling, where it's a level straight line, approx. 8.5 feet. Then the cieling arcs on both sides of the room and visually measuring they look to be approx 4 - 5 feet.

ok for that room size you need at least 8- 2" x 24" x 48" panels to notice a change.
For best results 20 panels are ideal.

Whoa! That would be in essence a padded room. That many panels and I could start a home studio.

Thanks for the feedback Randy!
