Already Built Lounge Needs Soundproofing
« on: July 01, 2012, 05:38:22 AM »
I run a busy lounge. When it was built the soundproofing was drastically overlooked. We would like to have live entertainment like other places around town but are unable to because of the soundprooofing issues and due to noise complaints upstairs. We recently moved the basses to the floor to try to rectify the situation but that did not seem to help. Is there any way we could maybe cover the ceiling in something or wrap the corners off the ceilings in an insulation? Please help.

You will need to install a soundproof decoupled ceiling system if you want to get a decent reduction of the bass (low frequency) that is transmitting through to the units above.

You will need to contact us directly to assist you in solving this type of problem.
