Hollow-core door soundproofing
« on: October 08, 2012, 04:12:38 PM »

I'd like to apply something to block yelling/talking using staples, not glue/adhesive. I'd also like to cut it to the width of the door and then reuse those strips for the rest of the door.

For instance, 4ft of this is an area of 2304 inches - 4x48x12

And my door is 30x80 = 2400 inches

It IS a hollow-core and has only two hinges.

Will 4x of the above item have me covered for this job?
