vibration freezer/fridge upstair neighbor

Hello all,

Sorry if my English is not good. I will try to make myself understood.

I live on the third floor of a 4 floor building built around 1945. The walls are in concrete but the floors are in hard wood. The old lady has a freezer chest and also a mini fridge. They make a lot of vibration noise " hummm hummm hummm humm " all the time. I talked to the landlord and he went to put some mat under the appliance and said he can't do anything more. The noise has been reduced but it's weird, sometimes when I am standing up, I don't ear it, but when I am on my bed, I do.

I went to home depot and the guy told me to put Sonopan below the freezer and the mini fridge and that would mostly stop the vibrations. I mean, if a normal mat did reduce the noise by 90%, I think the Sonopan product could be good. I could put it this way:

Hardwood -- > mat --> senopan -->appliance

Or what do you recommend me. This is annoying as hell, because we always hear a very deep bass sound!

Thank you

Hi Randy, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I am not in the USA and ordering from your website would cost too much and MLV is not available here for some reason. Do you think the Sonopan would work? Or what other product could I use? Thank you

If anyone is interested, you can read reviews on mini fridges on this site, including how much noise they produce:

Sorry "Misterno"  Checked out your site and there's nothing there relating to soundproofing, so I'm banning you from posting any more off-topic SPAM!
