cheap way to soundproof windows
« on: January 18, 2013, 07:59:54 AM »

HI I live next to a highway. I am renting. there is only 3 windows I need to take care of , two are conjoined. Is there such a thing as a cheap way to put an interior maybe plastic see through glass like material over them? Like somthing i could remove in case I wanted to open windows? Id like to know where to get the material and how to do it. I have lyme disease so Im sensitive to sound, I also am quite confused but I thought I read somewhere that you could get plexi glass and magnetic strips to do this but im not sure where to start. Help would be greatly appreciated.

to find plexi glass in your area use google search type in "plastic suppliers (your postal zip code)"
