Building the Pullman Sleeper
« on: January 26, 2013, 09:25:08 AM »
Hello, I'm new to forums, New here too,  So Hi..   ;D

I moved into a great little apartment 5 month ago and thoroughly enjoyed living here till December of last year, when someone new moved in above Me..  I've since discovered that the building is so sound permeable, I can hear the guy next door on the phone.. I really like the apartment and the locations great so I've a mind to build some kind of enclosure I could sleep in?

I'm thinking of something freestanding, in the vein of an old pullman sleeper, but it would have to block out a lot of noise base noise too as this guy cranks the stereo and goes to bed.. thing is I don't know how to approach it..

Thanks

basically you need to build what is known as a sleep box or similar to an iso booth.
Best to give me a call and we can discuss ideas to approach this and materials to use.
