A blown in cotton fiber insulation seems like it would be a great product for certain applications.  Anyone heard about such a product being launched and distributed?

Only blown in fiberglass and cellulose are widely available at least from what i've seen. There is a loose fill rockwool product by roxul called "rockfill" but not distributed widely yet.  I think isn't even designed for being blown it but installed by hand as supplemental attic insulation around batts to fill in any gaps that are difficult to fill with batts.

Not that we know of yet....in the end you might still end up with a common problem with blown in products...they will eventually settle to the bottom of the wall leaving an untreated area at the top of the walls..gravity is always in play...
