need help on road vibration issue
« on: December 22, 2014, 10:53:41 PM »
I recently bought a house that sits close to the road and found out it is a road that tractor trailers like to use as a cut through to other towns and highways. My problem is when the tractor trailers go by my house will sometimes Shake from vibration given off by the trucks. Are there any products I can use or install in the ground to absorb the vibration before it hits my house foundation? Or are there any products that I can use of my basement walls that will help?

Sorry I missed this post, but there are no options that I am aware of that would address this type of problem in that fashion...
I think in a scenario like this you might be better off just addressing one room in the house to soundproof and you can float the room to isolate it from the shaking house.

Lets discuss, call me
