When the neighbors turn up their music in the day, the invading bass noise seems to permeate the rooms of the house closest to them (about 12 feet away). Furniture, carpet, curtains don't do anything to block out the noise. We notice that when we put our ears to the outside wall, we can hear the music and outside noise more clearly.
So we thought that maybe the 1980s insulation needs replacing. Can anyone suggest what we can do? Do we just need to take out the current insulation and replace it with new insulation which blocks out noise? If anyone can suggest anything, we'd really appreciate it!
Thanks
