I am building a custom truck, an ex-military vehicle M-135. I am attaching 3 cabs together so it can seat 8 and be powered by a Cat 3306. The original unit had zero noise or acoustical insulation. I would like to remedy that.
The cab floor, walls will be "double walled" and have a cavity space of 1 1/2". The roof will be double walled and have a cavity space of 1". The doors have roughly 3/4" of clearance between the window glass and outer skin. Steel is 1/16th inch thick.
The hood, firewall and engine compartment will only have a single skin of 1/16" material.
Can you please recommend some products to give me a nice quiet drive? I would like to have product that has pre-applied adhesive as much as possible, especially for the hood liner and firewall. These areas will be tough to re-apply should the adhesive fail.
