Building acoustic panels
« on: June 18, 2017, 01:07:12 PM »
I'm in the process of building a theater room. I'm trying to come up with ideas on how to decorate the room, and remembered I have all these old movie posters. Was thinking about building costume acoustic panels and use the poster. Build a poster frame to fit acoustic panels in and lay the poster over the top. My question is, how well will this work? Will more sound bounce off the poster then go through?

The lower frequencies would have no problem going through as long as you do not cover the poster with glass.
