Soundproofing a Bar
« on: March 11, 2002, 04:34:22 AM »
I have a major problem that i am looking for advice on.  I have a bar that i need to soundproof.  I have two stories (second floor loft)of exposed brick wall with exposed ceiling beams that i need to cut sound for my nights when i have DJ's / Bands.  I am willing to part with the exposed brick since i know i will have to build a wall around this one, but i was wondering if the brick wall would change the type of "sound wall" that was constructed around it.  The only info that i have been able to find automaticly assumes that your "sound wall" is going up around a studed interior wall.
Any help on this matter would be great.
Thanks in advance,
