Soundproofing a computer

I have a server tower with dual CPU motherboard and three large fans for internal cooling on top of smaller heatsink fans.  The tower is hugh and the sheet metal sides vibrates and amplifies the multiple fan noise all too well.  Any suggestions for soundproofing would be appreciated.

There is an acoustic absorbing material available at the market (bough mine from the internet), had the fans replaced by fans with a thermal sensor so it sets its rpm according to the system's temp. and finally shimming the housing at the contact surfaces as you to align the case plates properly to avoid vibration.
