A Level Coursework Please Help!!!

Im trying to do my major A-Level Physics coursework on which Materials are good at soundproofing against certain frequencies, now Im not quite sure which materials would be good to use for this, does anyone have any suggestions??

Mike,
There are many great soundproofing materials. Lead is the best, there is Mass loaded vinyl, closed cell foam mat, cork, most masonary products have good soundproofing, as does the sealed dead air space between walls and ceilings. Roll out roofing is also a good sound insulator. Acoustical curtains have good soundproofing qualities as well. Hope this helps you in your research.
