What about sound proof flooring?

How can we control sound going through concrete flooring and into other rooms or suites?

Chris,
Usually concrete is a good soundproofer in itself. Are you sure the sound is traveling though the floor, or that the sub floor is indeed concrete?
If you are sure the sounds are transmitting through a cement floor, then I would recommend that you layer the floor with Mass Loaded vinyl, and then hopefully carpet and pad right over this vinyl. This would be the best way to soundproof from the apartment or suite below.

There are several other methods for sound proofing the floor, such as acoustic pad, or sound-absorbing underlayment, or cork underlayment. sound control services
