Soundproofing for a bathroom. Does it Work?
« on: February 15, 2003, 02:52:37 PM »
I searched all the posts and was amazed at all the soundproofing ideas, but was surprised no one asked about soundproofing a bathroom! We have one that has a common 2 x 4 wood stud wall to the living room  and it has a hollow-core door that opens to the hallway.  The toilet is located on the common wall.  I'd like to soundproof the room at least so users can have some privacy when others are in the living room but before starting would like the know the rate of success from others.  Thanks.
