I have an outdoor generator that makes to much noise. we use it for camping.

Jeff,
For your outdoor generator, you will need to build a small enclosure and treat the inside of this enclosure with soundproofing materials, such as closed cell foam mat or mass loaded vinyl or a combination of both.. These materials would be adhered to the inside or outside of the enclosure (using contact cement). You will need to vent in cooling air for the generator, and also you will want to duct out the exhaust to a remote area.
