Title: Soundproofing office from machine shop
Post by: Arlene F Hasse on January 24, 2004, 01:22:35 AM
We need to soundproof the walls between our offices and our woodworking shop.  The machinery is very noisy, making it difficult to work and/or speak on the telephone.Would prefer to use some type of soundboard or soundproofing on the office side rather than on the shop side, if possible.  It will be easier to install and will prevent the soundproofing material from getting coated with sawdust.

Since we do not own the building, we would like the most cost effective way to do this  job.  We would like to install it ourselves, as we have many carpenters/craftsmen working for us.  Thank you! :) :)
