Title: underfloor soundproofing
Post by: Daniel Gospel on February 23, 2004, 01:47:13 PM
I live on the first floor of a victorian terraced house which has been split into flats, my problem is the noise of music and doors banging coming from the flat below.

So far i have been unable to find a suitable solution as it is not possible to modify the ceilings downstairs and I would like to retain the character of the origional florboards in my flat, thusfar i have been unable to find a method of soundproofing that can be fitted under the floorboards without raising the floor level.

I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone could give as my search for a way round the problem has been met without success.
