Title: "Injection" material?
Post by: HowardR on February 27, 2001, 01:55:11 PM
The floor of my flat is a 3/4inch width fibreboard, on wooden joists, then the ceiling of the flat below. The air gap is about 3 inches I think.
I don't particularly want to pull up all the flooring -is there a way of using some kind of injected foam (similar to cavity wall insulation) ?
I just need to improve sound insulation between my apartment and the one below.

About the only thing with any acoustics property at all is Rock Wool cut fibers.  The reports we get is that it doesn't work very well.
