Title: Window Sound proofing
Post by: shannon on February 25, 2005, 12:51:18 AM
If I use a self adhesive barrier to sound proof a window, will it ruin the window if I need to remove it later?

Usually, mat with the self adhesive can be peeled off, but on a window where the sun will heat it and the UV rays will harden it, it probably won't be removable easily.  Best to put it on a board instaed as shown in

then mount the assembley in the window.
