Title: Street noise through windows and door
Post by: Mark Molen on April 20, 2005, 09:36:28 PM
The street noise coming through windows and doors at night makes it difficult to sleep.  The Eagle Windows and doors were installed in 1998 on the 6th floor of a condo building.  They leak sound terribly.  The ceiling is concrete and the floor is hardwood with many rugs.

Should I look at replacing or modifying the windows or installing some other types of sound buffering?

I need some sleep!

There are several ways to treat noise entering through windows.  Start by reviewing your options described on the following page.
