Title: Sound proofing a standby generator
Post by: Sig Brunnenkant on October 27, 2005, 03:23:57 PM
What can I do to soundproof a standby genset (Generac Model 2212) to meet residential noise restrictions. My property line is 7.5 feet from the house and the gap between my neighbor's house and mine is 18 feet. The generator has some sound proofing installed but still puts out 70 dba at 7m.
