Title: air vent
Post by: Magnolia on March 25, 2001, 04:19:31 PM
Our kitchen has a small (10" x 10") air vent that
forces us to hear whatever is going on in the next apartment.
The window is covered with a metal grid. What material
would you recommend to cover it up? Wedgies? Pyramids?
And how should I attach the mat to the window to block maximum noise?
Thanks so much.

You'd need to relocate the vent so that the other rooms vent is not in a direct line with yours.  If you simply cover it, you wouldn't get the air through it, but if thats not a problem, use some of our 2" thic foam: same for the window.
