Title: soundproofing a celing

hey what to do if the ppl above u make too much noise that even when they walk or sneeze its loud and clear..

i need to sound proof my ceiling.. what is the best and inexpensive being that it is a rental?

please help!!!

I think you're out of luck.  Some older rentals tend to have paper-thin walls/ceilings and unless you're desparate enough to spend you're own money (hundreds of dollars at least), not much can be done.  The landlord will just scoff at your complaint.  The only problem he/she cares about is when the money isn't coming in...
