Title: Laundry Chute.
Post by: Anthony on April 23, 2001, 09:12:59 PM
I am planning on building a studio in my basement.
The space reserved for the studio has a laundry chute
coming down from the bathroom above.
Is there an effective way of stopping or reducing sound
from traveling up the chute without major reconstruction?

One technique that comes to mind is to make sure there are heavy covers (doors) on the chute, top and bottom.
