Title: Soundproofing and Electrical Outlets
Post by: Mary on September 23, 2007, 04:32:06 AM
I would like to add some green glue and drywall to soundproof but do not know what to do about the electrical and cable outlets in the wall. I can't just cover them up. Does anyone know what to do?

Use "Build-out Boxes" available from the hardware store to bring the outlets out flush with your new wall.
