Title: How can I block this sound? (clip inside)
Post by: daremo on December 29, 2007, 09:46:19 PM
Hello,
I need some advice from you sound experts out there..

I live in a pretty well built flat, can't hear any sounds at all, except.. This annoying hum through the wall, which I think is coming from some video game or instrument the kids next door seem to play all day long.

Here's a clip of the sound. I've made some adjustments to the file - removed the microphone hiss.

Here's one without the hiss reduction:

Would this work at all against that sound?

Cost isn't an issue unless it's a ridiculous amount. I just want to save my sanity because at the moment this sound is driving me crazy.

That product is the same as our Mass Loaded Vinyl and yes our MLV will work.

I also recommend you adding Cotton Fiber Insulation.
